The Rick Wheat NOAVEL Headstall, is a bit-less bridle designed to offer a safe, efficient and humane alternative to handle horses where no drugs or harsh treatment is necessary.  Farriers, Vetrinarians and countless others who enjoy horses use it today.  Rick has a lifetime of working with horses and training and is known to many as a "Horse Whisperer".

I started using the Noavel before it became commercially available as a pleasure rider and have a lot of experience with it.

DID YOU KNOW.... that a horse has a bone in their tongue that is easily

broken and in many cases horse owners don't become aware until they summons a vetrinarian to investigate a gait issue as the horses equilibrium is challenged if this bone has broken.  Often the horses tongue will be at one side or the other.  It is shaped somewhat like a wish bone and the NOAVEL is one way to avoid this from happening as the Noavel has nothing to go in the mouth.  The NOAVEL Headstall fits well and does not rub the nose as to create a sore like some other products can.  It may also with a minor adjustment be used to trail ride or pleasure ride, while many a farrier or vetrinarian will use it to gain the attention of the horse to create a safe environment and a time savings device when a horse has bad habits or has become unruly.  With a short training time, the user will soon discover it's effective use and not need to "pull" or restrain the horse but enjoy a short bump and release technique that soon trains the horse to not fear it's user but gives the attention to the user and although not a miracle tool, certainly is impressive!  Roger D Woods, Sr.
